Grab Bags Overview

Hello Collectors,

With all the excitement about Grab Bags, there may be some questions about how rare the Wallapgrahic items actually are. We want to help shed some light on what you can expect to find within Grab Bags, and how often you can expect to find them.

Remember: The main idea behind Grab Bags is to give a narrowed focus for obtaining items, while keeping the element of surprise alive. The ability to quickly target items within a specific set will be very useful moving forward, and gives newer players another way to fill their sets. Grab Bags are similar to blind box vinyls or trading cards – not every Grab Bag opened will produce a ‘chaser.’ Part of the fun is the thrill of finally receiving that rare toy/card/item, even though the process can take time. Our desire is for Grab Bags to be fun for everyone, even with varying individual goals.

Each Grab Bag Unique is themed around a particular set. Since most WallaBee Sets differ in size, how items can be obtained, and price; the math behind Grab Bags varies depending on each set. Take the cost to finish the set, divide it by how many items are in the set, and you have a good guess at the cost of that grab bag. We can’t make every grab bag 2000 honeycombs, because receiving a 100hc item would be a rip-off. We also can’t make bags cost 100 honeycombs when the results can sell in the store for 1000. That’s why every bag is priced based on the contents of the bag. If every set had the same number of items, it would be easy to simply say “Wallagraphics have a 1:13 ratio,” but this is not the case with varying set sizes. To combat the Wallagraphic from Eau De WallaBee being a 1:3 chance, or the Wallagraphic from Great American Road Trip being a 1:52 chance, we had to do things differently. We have broken sets into 4 basic tiers: common, uncommon, rare, and very rare. 1 Common in ~2.17 bags, 1 Uncommon in ~3.33 bags, 1 Rare in ~5.25 bags, 1 Wallagraphic in ~20 bags. These tiers are based on how items are already found within WallaBee. To help visualize what we mean, here’s a look at a few sets.

Circus Set

This is a great example of a proportionately distributed bag. There are more common items than uncommon items and more uncommon items than rare items. This type of layout is very common within various card collecting games. With a small pool of items, players can expect to see the same common item multiple times before they see a rare or very rare item. This is quite different from the next example.

Roadtrip Set

There are 51 items in this set. This example has many uncommon items since most of the set was not used in a mix. With a large pool of items, collectors can expect to see more variation in common items received. The chances of seeing the same uncommon item in this set is not likely before receiving a rare or very rare item. Since there are still four tiers of rarity, the same ratio is applied here as with the Circus set, although it won’t feel as repetitive with more possible items.

Sushi Set

This set has many common and rare items, with only one uncommon item. Although there is only one uncommon in the set, there are multiple variants of it, which may make receiving this item more appealing. The chances of receiving the same rare items from this set are not as likely.

Hopefully, this breakdown helps explain our reasoning for Grab Bags and Wallagraphic items more than before. If you have any questions about what’s been presented here, please contact support@wallabeegame.com.

WallaBee will be once again joining in the festivities this year with WallaBash 2. If you missed out on our first WallaBash, you’ll definitely want to make plans on attending this year. 2017 In Review and 2018 Theme Announcement

2017’s theme was ‘Everyone, Everywhere.’ We began implementing this right away, with our 2017 calendar set: it’s a small worldwide celebration 2017. This set highlighted holidays around the world, both big and small, serious and comical. We also released Legacy Pt. 2, which highlighted some of our favorite Player Uniques from the community. We continued our theme by celebrating our 5th birthday in February. The Birthday Baking set allowed players all over the world to create cupcakes in honor of our big day. We also had two major events in Orlando and London, where players from around the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia visited one another with fun scavenger hunts, lots of laughs, and maybe a few butterbeers to boot. March took our collectors into the heart of The Waztecs‘ culture, where we found many Giant Heads, made of stone. Strangely enough, they resembled members of the WallaBee Staff.

We tried our luck at humor in April, releasing a set of WallaBee-inspired memes. Despite our best efforts at appealing to internet culture, none of them took off. Oh well. We also launched Another Night In The Forest, which continued where the first set left off. The item ‘It’s A QR Code!‘ ended the set with a nod to Munzee, allowing a nice bridge between apps and communities in July. After rewriting the app from scratch, we launched Version 2 on May 1st. This set the course for the rest of the year, allowing both iOS and Android users access to the wonderful world of WallaBee. We threw back to the London event with a BeeKeeper co-directed set in June, highlighting some of the memorable moments during The Hunt. We also cleaned up our act with Two Bits, which helped introduce a new sub-category for Service locations.

The community cooled off with a water war in August, with Team Pink taking on Team Blue in WWH2O. Which team did you root for? Keeping with a Summer theme, we explored the California desert in Joshua Tree, the second BeeKeeper co-directed set of the year. Version 2 Achievements launched in September, and who could forget MHQ Bash (featuring WallaBash)? Those in attendance were able to meet Andrew Cameron in person, get his autograph, and view a specially made video of him drawing Pouch of Plenty. We also released WallaBee Passports, which pay homage to some of WallaBee’s roots.

October rolled around the corner with the release of web-messaging and everyone’s favorite addition to the game – Lock Box. We also began Budgets Wonders, where players around the world helped Benson navigate certain special landmarks. Munzee Inc also merged with Freeze Tag Inc, creating an even larger library of mobile games. Our joined forces should be interesting come 2018. On Halloween day, something strange happened in Wallaville – there were signs of an Invasion. Unfortunately, this story doesn’t finish until next year. In an effort to help the community feel more connected to what’s going on behind the scenes, we began the Weekly Buzz blog posts in November. These have been a great source of information for our players. A new WallaBee Artist was announced in December, leading up to Christmas Crisis – a set no one will soon forget.

We would like to thank our community of collectors for a great year. We appreciate your love and support as we continue our efforts to give you the best mobile collecting game on the market. We have compiled some fun statistics to share with y’all. We hope that you enjoy them.

Stay tuned for 2018, as we begin our new focus: Breaking Barriers. Barriers can hold us back, mark limitations, or even provide a certain level of comfort to those inside its walls. By recognizing and addressing these barriers, we can grow past the status quo and improve the game for all users. Our goal through this is to update the tutorial process, redefine competition, and enhance gameplay for all users.

Unique Commissions: Closed (NOW OPEN!)

Hello Collectors!

Unique items are something that makes WallaBee standout among the crowd. How many other games do you know of that allow its players the opportunity to have their ideas added to the game? That’s right, Player Uniques have a very special place in our hearts here at WallaBee HQ. We want to continue helping our players add a little bit of themselves into the game through this great program. To help keep everyone up to date, we have had an overwhelming number of commissions that have come in this year. In fact, there have been so many commissions that we are all booked up through the end of 2018. There’s a year’s worth of uniques waiting for Andy’s tired hands, and we are excited to get started on them.

Although we love having a year’s worth of work ahead of us, we don’t want to keep this going at the current rate. We aren’t ready to begin planning 2019’s Player Unique commissions at this time, so we’re going to temporarily close any new commission ideas you may have. We will keep the community updated through the blog and website when we open the queue back up to new commissions. For now, if you have a unique in the queue, we will still be working on it as planned. If you have not submitted your request for a new unique, please hold off until we are ready to accept more commissions.

The Player Unique aspect of WallaBee is very important to us, which is why we are making sure we don’t bite off more than we can chew. There may be a chance that we open the queue back up before the end of 2018, but we want to make sure that we can handle everything that we currently have first. We look forward to seeing all of the current great unique ideas come to fruition!

Freeze Tag Merger with Munzee is Complete

The day has arrived. After months of hard work, long conversations, and a successful joint venture, Munzee Inc has been merged into Freeze Tag Inc. This is a great thing for WallaBee players worldwide as we move forward as one company, stronger together.

There will be no changes to the game, other than great things in store for the future with additional resources and personnel. I, Robbie, maintain my role as overseer in every regard with WallaBee. Nothing changes on that front.

Our apps now include Munzee, WallaBee, Eventzee, Garfield Go, and the rest of the FT suite of apps.

We really look forward to a bright future with some great ideas on the horizon. As usual, we have to be vague with certain details moving forward, especially now that we are part of a public company.

Please know we not only appreciate all of our player communities, but we all know this is only possible because of you playing our games and growing them with us. We look forward to visiting with many of you at upcoming events and continuing to grow our games together.

Thank you for your continued support.

Robbie McGuire
Director of Operations – WallaBee

Announcement Press Release:

Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), temporarily trading as (OTC: FRZTD), a leading creator of mobile social games, today announced the company has successfully completed a merger with Munzee Inc., effective October 18, 2017.

“We are thrilled to combine forces with Munzee Inc.,” said Craig Holland, CEO of Freeze Tag. “Rob Vardeman and the Munzee team have built a world class location-based gaming franchise with a dedicated player community.”

The combined company, Freeze Tag, Inc., will maintain offices in McKinney, Texas and Tustin, California with the management team comprised of Craig Holland as CEO, Rob Vardeman as President, Mick Donahoo as CFO, and Cecie Newman as VP of Operations.

“Six years of building communities in our family of apps, with a hard-working team, has brought us to this next chapter,” said Rob Vardeman, former President of Munzee Inc., and now President of Freeze Tag. “We look forward to the leadership and experience the Freeze Tag team brings as we all become stronger together.”

Freeze Tag will continue to align its vision with two fast-growing trends in the mobile applications world: AR location-based gaming and location-based advertising. The combined company has proprietary technology with the ability to create a portfolio of augmented reality location-based games for brands and iconic characters, such as the augmented reality treasure hunting game Garfield GO, which is currently live in several countries around the world.

According to advisory firm Digi-Capital, mobile AR (augmented reality) is set to become the primary driver of a $108 billion VR/AR market by 2021, with AR taking the lion’s share of $83 billion, with VR being the remaining $25 billion (source: Digi-Capital article.)

With Munzee’s dedicated player community and large installed base of locations and the combined technology of both companies, there are tremendous opportunities to offer engaging entertainment-centric, location-based advertising solutions. Location-targeted mobile advertising is advertising based on a user’s location or includes proximity-relevant content to trigger local offline conversions. According to BIA/Kelsey, a media research firm, location-targeted mobile ad sales are expected to rise from $12.4 billion in 2016 to $32.4 billion by the end of 2021. (Source:)

Freeze Tag management indicated that news related to current and future products will be forthcoming.
